1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Legaxi (legaxi.net), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Legaxi.

2. What Legaxi Is — and Isn't

Legaxi is a guided tool that helps you organize your end-of-life wishes, document important information for your family and executor, and, if you choose, capture your life story.

Legaxi is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing on Legaxi — including AI-generated plan text, the Executor Toolkit, or any other content — constitutes legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. Legaxi does not draft legally binding wills, trusts, or other legal instruments. To make your wishes legally effective, you should consult a licensed estate attorney; for financial matters, a licensed financial advisor; and for medical directives, your physician.

3. Active Development / Beta Notice

Legaxi is under active development. Features, content, and behavior may change as we improve the service. We recommend not relying solely on Legaxi for final, binding decisions while it is in this stage — treat generated plans as a strong starting draft to review with the appropriate professional.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Legaxi account.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly at hello@legaxi.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Legaxi for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Legaxi's systems or other users' data
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service
• Use automated means to scrape or extract data from Legaxi

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you enter into Legaxi — your answers, your life story, your photos. By using Legaxi, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you (for example, generating your plan or life story). We do not use your content for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it — see our Privacy Policy for full detail.

8. AI-Generated Content

Portions of your plan and life story are generated using AI based on the information you provide. AI output can occasionally contain errors, omissions, or phrasing that doesn’t fully match your intent. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content for accuracy before relying on it, sharing it with others, or using it to make decisions — particularly anything with legal, financial, or medical implications.

9. Executor Toolkit

The Executor Toolkit provides general, informational guidance about tasks commonly involved in settling an estate. Requirements, deadlines, and procedures vary significantly by state and individual circumstances. The Executor Toolkit is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, and Legaxi is not responsible for decisions made based on its content.

10. Intellectual Property

The Legaxi name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by Legaxi. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what’s necessary to use the service as intended.

11. Termination

You may stop using Legaxi and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access to Legaxi for violations of these Terms, or to protect the security or integrity of the service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Legaxi is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work to keep the service reliable, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — particularly given its current active-development stage.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legaxi and its founders are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Legaxi evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
